Principal of St. Margaret's delivers lecture to local group
On Sunday 1 November the Principal of St. Margaret's, Mrs Jennifer McGhee, was the Keynote Speaker in a lecture delivered to a local Engaging Faith group at the Mayfield Salisbury Parish Church. The lecture was entitled: A Good Childhood - Are Our Children Happy? Mrs McGhee covered themes including whether our childrens' happiness is a reflection of our society and whether the happiness of children is dependent on their experiences at school. Following the lecture, there was an interesting and thought-provoking Q&A session. Mrs McGhee said "This lecture afforded me a great opportunity to stretch the hand of St. Margaret's out into the local community. We hope to continue to strengthen our links to our local community".
